Bahraini MMA Fighter Mohamed Alsameea is all set to be in action at the BRAVE CF 84 event which is scheduled to happen in China on August 9.
A three-time IMMAF Medallist and a former Asian amateur MMA champion, Alsameea will take on China’s Yang Weiqiang in a Flyweight bout at the event. This will be the third professional MMA fight for Alsameea who is currently undefeated in the professional MMA circuit with a record of two wins and no losses.
A member of the KHK MMA team formed under the vision of His Highness Shaikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Alsameea had a notable amateur career representing Bahrain in various IMMAF competitions. He then made his professional debut at BRAVE CF 72 against Ibrahim Hassan, securing a second-round finish. He continued his success with another dominant finish at BRAVE CF 80 against Yehia Ashraf.
He is held in the highest regards by everyone in the Arab MMA community as the next big future superstar out of the Kingdom of Bahrain. He is a pupil of Hamza Kooheji, the best Bantamweight in the Middle East and a legend of Bahrain sports.
Yang Weiqiang, on the other hand, holds a professional MMA record of four wins and four losses and will be making his promotional debut in the fight at BRAVE CF 84.
BRAVE CF 84 will be the fourth event of 2024 for BRAVE Combat Federation following memorable outings in Slovenia, Mauritius, and the Netherlands. This will also be the debut event in China for the most global MMA organization in the world and will take the number of host nations to 33 which is a record unmatched by any other MMA promotion in the world.
The event also kickstarts a busy 70-day period for BRAVE Combat Federation as the organization will be travelling 17,000 kilometres around the world hosting six events.
