As part of its summer activity program “Watan and our King, our King, organized an awareness lecture on “Ways to Protect from Cyber Security Risks” derived from the Ma’an approach to Cybersecurity, in cooperation with the “Together” program, which is one of the initiatives of the national plan to strengthen national affiliation and consolidate the values of citizenship (Bahrain).
In this context, Mr. Ali Abdul Hussein Al-Asfour, Governor of the Northern Governorate, pointed out that the organization of this lecture comes within the framework of achieving the principles of community partnership and social responsibility towards young people, and raising their awareness of the field of cybersecurity and its importance in light of the technological progress experienced by the world.
The paragraph, which was attended by more than 50 participants in the summer activity of the Northern Conservation, included a set of main objectives, which are to introduce the concept of cybersecurity and means of personal protection of private information and data and not sharing them in cyberspace by learning to preserve privacy, in addition to defining the concepts and forms of abuse through the Internet and the consequences.
The paragraph witnessed a positive interaction from the participants, stressing the importance of the information they obtained during the lecture, which is considered one of the most important individual needs in light of the openness and technological development witnessed by the world and the various risks they may face when using Internet networks and digital and electronic programs.
