Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today performed Eid Al-Adha prayers at Al Sakhir Palace Mosque.
The sons of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, senior members of the Royal Family, ministers, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, a number of ambassadors, senior officers from the Bahrain Defence Force, the Ministry of Interior, the National Guard, Bahraini families, and senior officials, in addition to other worshippers also performed the prayers at Al Sakhir Palace Mosque.
The Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, Dr Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajiri, delivered a sermon in which he highlighted the values of Eid Al-Adha and the strong sense of community that is encouraged by Islam.
Dr. Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed extended best wishes to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa in their continued leadership of the nation towards further achievements, security, stability, and prosperity.
Dr. Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed also wished Bahrain and its people everlasting safety, progress, and prosperity.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister congratulated His Majesty the King and the people of Bahrain on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha and exchanged greetings with worshippers, wishing the Kingdom and the Arab and Islamic nations further progress and prosperity.
For their part, the attending worshipers extended their best wishes to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and to His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the Eid Al-Adha. They also wished HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister success in furthering the Kingdom’s standing regionally and globally, as well as its comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad.
