Najran; The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance in Najran Region has installed interactive electronic screens at the pilgrims city at Al-Wadiah Border Crossing that may display 1,000 audio and visual scientific materials concerning Islamic sciences and Sharia, in 51 languages, as well as 2,000 slides for guidance.
Pilgrims may download the materials and scientific books that raise awareness and offer guidance onto their mobile phones.
This service aligns with the Kingdom’s advancements in digital transformation, which is one of the targets of Saudi Vision 2030.
The ministry has been keen to expand its electronic services for pilgrims this year, to achieve integration with other government entities and thus make it easier for pilgrims to perform their rituals.
